Call it what you will; never too late to have a happy childhood, or the minute you stop dreaming, you're a walking dead man! Or, in the words from one of The Karma Mechanics' songs- "You say we're old enough to act our age, but we're too young to give a damn."  Call it what you will, but even before Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Drummer Artimus Pyle of Lynyrd Skynyrd came up from the audience to jam some Bo Diddley and Sly & The Family Stone tunes at the first show of The Karma Mechanics' new lineup, we knew that we were on the right road to what Rock & Roll has always been about: singing some simple truths that people can understand, playing it so people can dance, on their feet & in their hearts, and having a rocking good time, laughing while we're doing it!

Call it what you will- we play mostly original music. No one would talk about Skynyrd or Neil Young if Ronnie or Neil had wanted to be in a cover band, but we do it with the heart and soul of the day. Doesn't matter; we don't call it Stones, we don't call it Dead, we don't call it Ramones, we don't call it Iggy Pop ; We call it Rock & Roll, and that's all it's ever been. We play it hard, we play it tight, and we play it with some serious professionalism.

We roll on like the stone of old, hearts on fire in a world grown cold. We've each come down that long Rock & Roll highway to get here, and we're having some big time fun doing it! We'd like to share that with you, so give us a listen! Invite us by your place, and we'll link up and lay it down, and spread those positive vibes in the old school rock tradition!

Dave has been writing songs since the original Woodstock 50 years ago, and Dan has been unwinding a bass tornado in the Northeast just as long, backing up bands such as The Drifters, playing bass in the house band on The Jerry Blavat Show, "The Discophonic Scene," starting when he was just an early teenage rocker. Scott's history in live rock radio gives him an arsenal of rhythms and grooves to lay the foundation of everything rock, and Hamza's eclectic, youthful leadwork on the guitar compliments his bandmates to make the sound of The Karma Mechanics an unforgettable, fresh take on what we commonly refer to as "Old School Rock and Roll," where yin meets yang, wisdom meets whimsicality, the past meets the future, and we carry the torch as the
